K/1 FAVA student work
A second grade class in my Watertown school displaying their "Oaxacan" inspired Mexican animals.

I worked with my daughter's first grade teacher to do an interdisciplinary art project in French. We talked about the life and work of Henri Matisse and looked at a series of his open window paintings. They created their own imaginary image of an open window using mixed media. They then wrote about what they imagined in their window in French!

Painting to the Blues! PreK and Kindergarten students at the Cunniff school in Watertown listened to blues music and painted how the music made them feel. They experimented with monochromatic color, making tints and shades of blue.

Hokusai traveling art exhibit at the Cunningham school in Milton sponsored by the MVAA and PTO.
