When in doubt, just add glitter! I am a PreK-5 art teacher, and these are words to live by. The images on this blog are from the students I teach. I hope they inspire you. There is nothing better than art seen through a child's eye.

5th Grade ACE chalk pastel landscapes
I am really enjoying my 5th grade ACE class, they are so enthusiastic about art. ACE is for students that want to take art more seriously, and explore art concepts that may not be covered in a regular art class. Students have to apply, and if accepted, must agree to miss recess one day a week. We have been looking at landscapes by artist Wolf Khan, and talking about his use of color. Here are some of the student work that was inspired by this artist.
